OurGOLD
Mongbwalu has been historically associated with gold since the colonial era. Today, the cooperative develops responsible, transparent and traceable gold value chains from artisanal mining operations in Ituri Province.
Gold from Mongbwalu
The Mongbwalu gold field is one of the most historically significant gold deposits in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Located in Ituri Province, the deposit has been mined since the early colonial period and continues to hold substantial artisanal mining potential.
Mongbwalu Coopérative Minière is committed to developing this resource responsibly — with full traceability, mercury-free processing and transparent supply chains that meet the highest international standards.
